One of the best grammar sites

My favorite resource for grammatical refreshers is Grammar Girl. Need to know when to use "lie" versus "lay?" Where to place the apostrophe? She's got all the answers.

My credentials

I have a varied background in communications - working full-time as a journalist for a weekly suburban newspaper as well as a writer/editor of a monthly business journal and a food-service industry publication.

For three years, I was assistant director of communication for the largest public service employees labor union in Ohio.

For more than 12 years I have freelanced as a writer, editor, desktop publisher and Web site designer. My clients have included a PR agency, a public accounting firm, and non-profits as well as subcontracting work for a graphic designer and a printer broker.

I pride myself on the long-term relationships I've built with all of my former co-workers and clients.
